Loading Errors (DCV)
Measurement loading errors occur when the resistance of the device-under-test
(DUT) takes up a certain percentage in the multimeters own input resistance. The
diagram below shows this error source.

To reduce the effect of loading errors and noise interference, you can set the input
resistance of the multimeter to “>10for 200 mV, 2 V and 20 V ranges, and
“10MΩ” for the 200 V and 1000 V ranges.
